Damage Control Equipment

In order to fight fires or control damage effectively, Sailors have to get at the source of the casualty as quickly and safely as possible. It’s a race between assessment and execution versus the spread rate of the damage. Many times Sailors find the normal means of access blocked by debris or the casualty effects so alternative methods must be preplanned and thought out to enter a casualty area safely and effectively.
