The Canvas Tool Roll Assembly

Small tools in the repair locker present a problem in stowage. When such tools as pliers, screwdrivers and wrenches are stowed on shelves or in bins they are soon covered with larger tools. Then when they are needed, it is   necessary to institute a search for them. Further, when there is only a hit-and-miss system of stowage it is difficult to make a careful inventory. "A place for everything and everything in its place" is a slogan that should apply to every repair locker.  The tool roll consists of a heavy fire-proofed canvas backing, provided with loops for holding small tools. When in use it may be suspended from a deck beam, so that every tool contained is plainly visible. Missing items are obvious. When the locker is secured, the tool holder should be rolled up and padlocked. If it is fitted with a pair of strap handles the entire roll may be quickly and easily transported to the scene of operations.
