ABOUT US |
This Damage Control Museum website is dedicated to honor the sailors past and present. The information is collected and passed on from retired shipmates as we search and share the history of damage control through our eyes. The site helps to keep alive the memory, history, traditions and lessons learned in blood from our shipmates that have given their lives for the damage control community. Some of us continue to visit the museum ships and collect pictures of damage control and personnel protection equipment and systems to share. As we have gotten older and less mobile we can still use our computers to visit, remember, and share our virtual Damage Control Museum. This is the home of our scavenger hunt treasure collection, and the golden nuggets from our damage control heritage. “LIVE IT, LEARN IT, AND PASS IT ON.” We are constantly working to improve the website for you. If you would like to volunteer you time and share information and pictures please contact: embreepn@msn.com Thank you for your service and support! |
