Crowfoot Wrench (set) |
The crowfoot wrench was used in repair lockers to tighten cable way stuffing tubes between watertight decks and bulkheads. It's low profile and long reach enabled it to tighten loose packing nuts leaking water deep inside packed wireways. Modern warships use a different system for transiting wires and cables between watertight bulkheads and decks eleminating the requirement for the crowsfoot wrench as part of the repair locker inventory. |
