DC EQUIPMENT MUSEUM Portable Pumps and Dewatering Equipment Dewatering combines the use of portable pumps and installed drainage systems to remove flooding and firefighting water. Some of the portable equipment most often used included the submersible pump, the P-500 pump and eductors. Buckets were also used in small scale flooding as the final step in dewatering when other equipment lost suction. |
