USS LEXINGTON On October 29, 1989, an aircraft crashed while making touch and go attempts into the flight deck of USS Lexington (AVT 16) during training maneuvers in the Gulf of Mexico. There were 5 casualties and 19 injuries reported as a result of the crash. |
