USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67), Fires, 5 June 1979 On June 5, 1979, the aircraft carrier, USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) suffered from two fires while undergoing overhaul at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA. There were no personnel casualties or injuries reported and damage to the ship was insignificant. |
