USS HARRY W. HILL (DD 986) and USS KANSAS CITY (AOR 3), Collision, 14 January 1991 |
| On January 14, 1991, the Spruance class destroyer, USS Harry W. Hill (DD 986) collided with the Wichita class replenishment oiler USS Kansas City (AOR 3) while conducting underway replenishment operations in the Gulf of Oman. There were no personnel casualties or injuries reported. |
