USS DAHLGREN (DDG 43), Main Space Fire, 22 February 1992                    

On February 22, 1992, the Farragut class destroyer, USS Dahlgren (DDG 43), suffered a Class "B" main space fire in the #1 engine room. There were 2 casualties reported as a result of the fire.

On June 29, 1981, the Farragut class destroyer, USS Dahlgren (DDG 43) experienced a fire in the radiomen’s storeroom while conducting operations in the Caribbean. It took 2 hours to extinguish the fire. There were no personnel casualties or injuries reported.
